FinChamLux at World Economic Forum 2026

In January 2026, FinChamLux joined the famous World Economic Forum week in Davos through collaboration with Chamber of Commerce Finland-Switzerland - through two events.

On Monday 19th January 2026, we joined the prestigious event “Finland Global Innovation Dialogue: Europe 2050: How Emerging Technologies Reshape Power, Security, and Diplomacy in a Re-Engineered Continent" organised at the beautiful setting of Mountain Plaza Hotel.

The event’s undeniable highlight was the exclusive fireside chat of H.E. Dr. Alexander Stubb, President of the Republic of Finland, Interviewed by Gideon Rachman, Chief Foreign Affairs Commentator at the Financial Times.

The panel discussion that followed, brought together remarkable leaders shaping Europe's tech-security future:

  • H.E. Erkki Keldo – Minister of Economic Affairs and Industry, Estonia

  • Justin Hotard – President & CEO, Nokia

  • Tero Silvola – CEO, Modirium Platform

  • Louis Mosley – Executive Vice President UK and Europe, Palantir Technologies

  • Peter Sarlin – Co-founder & CEO AMD Silo AI

The conversations around defence, security, and the emerging world order were particularly timely, and the perspectives on how European tech innovation and new alliances fit into the bigger picture was greatly appreciated.

On Tuesday 20th January, FinChamLux together with Finland-Switzerland Chamber of Commerce, joined forces to a co-organized event of
Arctic Innovation Sparks and Finland Cocktails”, which set the stage for Finnish innovations to get connected with investors and leading business influencers in a unique setting in Davos.  The event was organized in collaboration with Basel Investor Forum

We had the pleasure to have Finland’s Minister for Foreign Trade and Development. Ville Tavio, to share the opening words to our event and the Ambassador of Finland to Liechtenstein and Switzerland, H.E. Okko-Pekka Salmimies, to set the stage for Finnish innovation pitches.

We had the opportunity to host great companies from Finland: Spara Energia, Ductor Oy, QMill and Aitio.

The hosted networking event offered a platform for meaningful discussions and potential synergies.

With the success of these events, Davos 2027 edition is already in the planning. Contact us if you want to be part of the story.
